The exotic allure
of canna lilies!
With their vibrant flowers and lush, tropical foliage, Canna lilies are like annual exclamation points in the garden.  Native to the southern United States, these showy "lilies" are actually members of the ginger family! Despite their exotic appearance, they're easy to care for, requiring only a sunny spot, moderate water, and some flowering plant fertilizer to put on a show.
Cannas can be used to create dramatic boarders, add height to containers, or provide a bright focal point in a garden display. We've got a gem-like array of colors in stock, so why not give them a try this season?

Shrub roses are hardy, easy-care, full, and most importantly, free blooming! They range in size from mid-sized to small, including the groundcover type roses. This week we'll go beyond Knockout roses and introduce you to a few key players in the shrub rose genre.

Drift roses: tiny but mighty

For something tiny but mighty, try the groundcover Drift roses. Most are 2 1/2 feet tall and wide or less, perfect for providing all the flower power of a standard rose without the size. The Sweet Drift variety even has scent- a rare trait in a shrub rose!

Despite their chic looks, the Drift roses are also rugged, and hardy down to –30°F! Neat and well-behaved, spreading no taller than they grow, the drift roses make impressive bedding boarders and walkway edgers.

OSO Easy shrub roses

Rugged and tough, these double and semi-double roses attract both pollinators and people. They're exceptionally cold tolerant, and they come in an array of brilliant colors.
