Forsythia
Be the first on your block to welcome spring with Forsythia’s iconic wands of golden blooms. These hardy, deciduous shrubs explode with bright yellow flowers before their leaves emerge, creating a dramatic early-season display. Forsythia thrives in full sun, and makes an excellent hedge or focal point.

Looking for fragrance and pollinator power? Fothergilla’s white, bottlebrush-like flowers are honey-scented, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. With powdery gray leaves that turn fiery shades in fall, Fothergilla offers year-round interest and thrives in sun or partial shade. A Hoerr Nursery Tried and True shrub!

Spice Viburnum
Beloved for their intoxicating jasmine scent, the clusters of fragrant white flowers emerge from rosy pink buds in spring. Retains a neat habit without pruning, making it a great choice for mixed hedges, or as a specimen plant. Sun to part shade.

Lilacs
Lilacs are beloved for their fragrant, abundant blooms that signal the true arrival of spring. Available in sizes ranging from dwarf to privacy shrubs, and even as patio trees, lilacs are happy in almost any well-drained spot with at least six hours of direct sun per day.

We have the perfect mulch for every need:
- Shredded Hardwood Bark Mulch: A professional-grade mulch with naturally deep color that retains moisture and insulates plants.
- Virgin Dyed Mulch: Safe for people and pets! This vibrant, non-toxic dyed mulch available in brown, red, and black—perfect for adding color contrast. Unlike much of the dyed mulch on the market, it is free of pallet wood, making it free of potential toxins like chromated copper arsenate and methyl bromide.
- Kiddie Cushion: An Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) product, Kiddie Cushion is made from a combination of virgin wood chips and 10-20% wood fines, which provides the ideal amount of compaction for a safe play surface. If you have a playground area in need of an update, or you simply prefer a lighter shade of wood mulch, Kiddie Cushion is the mulch for you.
- Pine Bark Fines: Ideal as a soil amendment, or acidifier—great for blueberries and other acid-loving plants. Pine bark fines are an eco-friendly byproduct of the lumber industry.
