MULCH MADNESS!

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Schedule your free mulch delivery early!

Our 2021 Mulch Madness season is scheduled from April 5th-April 24th, but if you call our Stone Market at 309-689-2513 from now through April 3rd and mention Mulch Madness, you can schedule a free hardwood mulch delivery ahead of the rush!

New to Mulch Madness? Here's how it works:

1. Measure the area that you'd like to mulch in square feet.

2. Decide whether you'd like hardwood mulch, brown dyed mulch or red dyed mulch. We recommend spreading wood mulch at a depth of 2-3" for effective weed suppression.

That's all you need to give us a call!

If you want to do the calculations on your own ahead of time or browse a list of our other bulk materials and pricing, you can view our 2021 bulk materials chart here. (Scroll down to see the chart.)

Local delivery of wood mulch from 1-3 tons is free during Mulch Madness, but what if you don't live locally, or you need more than three tons? In that case, we'll give you $65 off of your delivery fee.

You can find a complete list of cities that we deliver to and additional mileage fees here. (Scroll to the bottom.)

Or just call Stone Market at 309-689-2513, tell us what you'd like to order and where you live, and we'll tell you how much it will cost to get it there.

Act now to prevent pests later: early spring tasks for a healthy garden
Spray horticultural oil on dormant fruit trees, rose bushes and shrubs to prevent infestation by aphids, scale, shot hole,
leaf curl,
and mites. Spray at bud break to treat apple scab
and apple maggot.
Prevent crabgrass by putting down a pre-emergent! It needs to be in place before the crabgrass sprouts in order to work. A good natural indicator for the proper time is from the first forsythia bloom to the first lilac flowers.
Stop Japanese Beetle grubs and other pests before they emerge from your lawn as voracious adults by putting beneficial Grub Exterminator Nematodes to work for you.

Apply the nematodes at dawn or dusk on a day that's 65F or warmer.
They'll work away in the soil under your grass, seeking out the soil-dwelling larval stage of innumerable pests, including bagworms, borers, potato beetles, corn root worms, cucumber beetles, flea beetles, gypsy moths and ticks.

Have you got the right tree in the wrong place?

For trees with a 5" trunk diameter or less, we can help! Email us about our tree relocation services.
